What is the Nothern Panhandle Resource Conservation and Development?
 
  The Northern Panhandle Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council is a unique partnership between local, state,and federal agencies and organizations, focusing on Land Conservation & Management, Water Management, and Community Development. 
 
The Northern Panhandle  RC&D was established in 1990 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 


Who do we serve?


The RC&D council serves the four counties of WV's Northern Panhandle, including Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, and Ohio Counties.


What kinds of projects do we work on?

Since its inception, almost 200 projects have been completed through financial and technical assistance from the RC&D council and its partners. Projects includeplayground, ballfield, and park improvements; development ofoutdoor classrooms; restoration of historical sites; community center renovations;business development training; and many more.
